The team pivoted to a completely virtual Pride Month celebration which had two components: Fun and education. Medals were rewarded, and a was trophy won. We needed to have in-person conversations. In their “spare time,” Sam works tirelessly to promote LGBTQ+ advocacy, cultivate a positive and diverse local community, and volunteer both time and support to aid in these efforts.

Nicole spends countless hours dedicated to community service and advancing the quality of life for those in this city. Even in 2019, few spaces existed where everyone regardless of sex, gender, race, or ability can come together and celebrate uniqueness. Join us for a day of fun, camaraderie, and celebration at AC Steere Park.

The Players line up in a row and are each given a cup. The final Player at the end of the line may turn around to fill the bucket.

Scoring: The Team with the most water in their bucket at the end of 5 minutes is declared the winner. Each time a leg of the relay is complete, the number of pizza boxes is increased by three. Thus, Field Gay was born.

In order to achieve this, a Team would need to win every competition, make no errors, and go for Skill Points. IF boxes are dropped the player returns to the last checkpoint. “We have enjoyed welcoming the whole community to experience the joy of field day in a unique way.”

Each team plays three games against their opponent.

We’ll group you with others or fill gaps in existing teams on the day of the event so everyone can play.
Spectators, come cheer on the teams and enjoy the festivities! Players or Teams that do not check in by 10:00am will not be eligible to play.

10:30am — Field Gay Opening Ceremony and Game Schedule Distribution. If any of the teams in the top three positions are tied with another team, a sack race will determine who takes the podium.
