Francine decides to be a surrogate mother for her gay neighbors Terry and Greg, but Stan kidnaps the baby in order to give it a better life, away from gay people (even though Virginia is one of a lot of states that doesn't allow gay people to have parental rights).

    I don't know why I said that.

Although when Terry starts to berate Stan after Tank makes it clear beyond a doubt he won't accept his son being gay, Francine steps forward and defends Stan. Greg and Terry's response is to put on some "rumble" music from West Side Story and engage in a dance-based battle, nimbly avoiding Stan's attacks, and pulling off over-the-top pretend attacks rather than actually attacking him, to his annoyance.

    Just like...normal kids.

Jason: We are normal kids, you moron!

  • Panicky Expectant Father: Greg. DS9 actually did have a surrogacy plot line in Season 5.

  • Irony: Stan made more of an effort to get Tank to accept Terry's sexuality more than Terry did.
  • Jerkass Has a Point:
    • Even though Stan has Terry Forced Out of the Closet and destroyed his relationship with his homophobic dad as a result, Francine and Greg ultimately agree that it was for the best after Stan did everything to atone for his mistake, especially since Terry was willing to risk his relationship with Greg for his father's approval.
