Gizelle voiced her concern for her friend after hearing about the split, with Ashley revealing the news to the other members of the group.

Karen asked Ashley how her marriage broke down after welcoming her youngest son just last year.

Ashley replied: "I don't drink," before admitting there were other reasons and saying she didn't believe her and Michael were "sexually as compatible anymore".

The TV personality explained: "We had a little incident in Miami where there was a lady who was very interested in me.

“Of course, there’s fans all over the place and they came up and said hello. “She’s in her 20s,” Michael said during the episode.

“It’s actually amazing that I’m taking on this next chapter of life with so much more confidence. “I think we’re going to have to really watch how she reacts to the news,” Dixon told E!. “And to be honest I think we’ve all kind of figured out that their relationship is kind of unconventional. Although she didn’t get everything she wanted out of the divorce, Ashley reassured fans she was in a really great place. 

“I’m living my best life,” she said.

Ashley confirmed her separation from Michael in April of 2022, nearly eight years after they tied the knot. 

“When Michael and I said ‘I do,’ we anticipated sharing every single day together from that moment forward,” she announced in an exclusive 2022 statement to The Daily Dish.

The duo officially called it quits ahead of the premiere of season 7 of RHOP, with Ashely announcing they had split after “almost 8 magical years” of marriage. In the clip, the two are filmed while out to dinner. The text messages alleged that Darby’s husband was out at a strip club and that he was telling everyone around him that he had a “boyfriend and a wife.” Attached to the series of messages was a photo of Darby’s face that Dillard’s friend had taken of him while out.
